Young Women in Bio (YWiB) is a nonprofit organization that encourages young girls to explore opportunities, education, and careers in STEM. On the day of the event, young women aged 14-15 will be visiting the GCI to learn about careers in life science and the importance of female representation in STEM. The students will hear about the groundbreaking scientific contributions women have made over the years and will be introduced to the academic career path as well as scientific career options outside of academia.
